I’m Alex and I’ve been designing and building things on the web, and beyond, for the past 12+ years
I’m a problem solver at heart, with a love of creativity and helping others reach their full-potential through thoughtful design solutions.
Background
I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Graphic Design in 2010. I've been designing for over a decade and I’ve been blessed to work with amazing companies and clients. I’ve learned brand, UI/UX and web design through on-the-job experience. I’m also a self taught front-end developer. I love solving complex problems through design thinking. I believe collaboration is king, but don’t shy away from sitting down and doing the work when it matters most.
Experience
After College I worked up to senior UX designer at a startup in Boulder, CO. I then spent 2 years working at Google as an interaction designer. Today, I’m Chief Design Officer for a successful healthcare technology company and the founder of a design collaboration SaaS tool called Volley. I feel a resourceful mindset, passion for the craft of design, and a positive attitude are the keys to continued success.
